Why would Mother’s Cookies put trans fat into their English Tea Cookies?
A serving of biscuits M? Re Th? Espa? Ol contains 2 grams of trans fat. Why an “m? Re” want to serve? anyone to content Mati? res deadly fat?
It extends the shelf life.
Luckily it is on the label. Years ago we did not have a clue what was in our food.
I believe that is the ingredient that provides comfort.
The fat that contains the trans fat is cheap and shelf stable. Bottom line is money; the cheaper they can make the product, the more money they make in profit.
